Presentation Skills

Everything you do delivers a message. How would you know if you're sending the wrong one?

What are the signs that you're turning people off and they're tuning you out?

How other people perceive you is a major factor in your success or failure.

It's not what you 'mean', but how people 'receive' it that creates the power behind your communication. Your reputation, business, job and relationships are on the line every time you're in front of someone or on the phone.

Annetta not only keeps our audiences engaged, but she makes the whole process easy-to-follow and high energy! Her background as a journalist is the icing on the cake. That’s why we keep bringing her back!
— Bob Yates, CEO, Chircle of Champions Seminars

Media Training

If your idea of dealing with the media is to run and hide, you’re missing a golden opportunity, and a way to position yourself that can open new door). You have more control that you realize (once you know how the game is played).

Annetta is our go-to media trainer for field managers here at AAA. Her ability to provide individual training in a small group setting is seamless. After each training managers compliment the sessions, saying it was one of the best trainings they’ve ever been to. Annetta’s attention to detail and ability to tweak the sessions as needed to accommodate each individual helps every manager leave with more confidence and skills than when they walked through the door

A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there

Uncomfortable conversations are a fact of life. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have them. Our frustration often comes from not knowing how to keep our emotions, and civility, in check.

Get the inside information on why people show up with preconceived ideas, how to make your point without being pushy, and why ‘proving’ your point can backfire.

When you know what works (and what doesn’t) your influence skyrockets!

Dynamic Communication

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

“This workshop (Dynamic Communication) was excellent. It will definitely allow our team to work more effectively together, and better serve and communicate with key stakeholders in our region.”
— Tony Jenkins, Market President, Central Florida Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida

The Art of Networking

Eventually, you have to talk to someone to make things happen. It doesn’t matter if you hate the whole ‘small talk’ thing. That’s usually where it starts. There are some secrets to making things work in your favor.

When I saw the agenda for today’s Leadership Orlando session, I rolled my eyes when I saw the title for your presentation. For years, I have coached interns and other young professionals to stop using the word “networking” as a verb.

I believe that your network (noun) is something that you build through authentic encounters and real relationships, not through random meet and greets. I was dreading the tips you would share.

But I was wrong. You believe the same thing, but put greater clarity around the process of getting from introduction to meaningful conversation that I’ve not heard presented before. I got a lot out of it.

So, I wanted to thank you and apologize for thinking that I had nothing to learn from you in this area. I enjoyed your session a great deal, and most directly, really appreciated your ideas for getting out of never-ending conversations (I was the one who asked that question).

Thanks again!
— Sandi Wallace, Manager, Security Program Administration, The Walt Disney Company
